Your cake toppers are gorgeous!
If I could choose any I would choose a traditional topper for my wedding cake. It would be in keeping with my colour theme of black, white and silver and it would have a pair of love birds somewhere within it.

Thanks for letting me share this with you.

Thanks for visiting my blog and letting me know of your giveaway! My brother is getting married this year in brighton and it would be a great pressie for them as they're on a budget as he just got made redundant. I think they'd like something a bit quirky! Fingers crossed and congrats on your 200th post! Marie xx

Congrats on your 200th post.
I have been following your blog for a while and I love your work. Each piece is amazing and different. I'd love a more traditional cake topper to complete my wedding cake and tie in with my vintage birdcages and candelabras. I still dream of my perfect wedding and having a Vintage Mapie Bouquet as I can't imagine ( and don't want to!!)walk down the aisle with a 'normal flower bouquet' now I have set my heart on a Vintage Magpie one!!
Here's to many more postsxx

Dear Emma, They are all beautiful but I love no 2, as it would match the bouquet you made for my wedding day in August 2009.
I would like the cake topper to go on my mum's 95th birthday cake. She provided various items for my bouquet so I would like to give her something lovely back. She is in hospital at the moment but is still smiling and making me laugh.
Many thanks

Hello Emma,

I also want to try. Congratulations by the way!!
I think that the topper is a good idea for my birthday cake. I'm almost 30! (I know it was a lovely year 1980 ;-) )

Love your cake toppers! And Congrats on your 200th post! I'm close to my 100th and can't believe it. I would choose one for a baby. I have nieces and nephews that recently married and who knows one of these days they could have a baby.

I have followed your blog for a while but never commented. Your pieces are wonderful. I adore your signature swirly silk roses and I'm desparate to touch them! My best friend is getting married soon and your designs would suit her theme perfectly. Slate gray, beige and cream (with gorgeous touchable roses!)

Hi Emma. Congratulations on your 200th post and can I just say how generous your giveaway is! Although I contacted you a little while ago about the possability of you making my bouquet for me (I'm still looking for my dress before I come back to you)I have never posted a comment before- but I think I will have to more often now! I have totally shocked my family by telling them I won't be having flowers at my wedding (Vintage Magpie is my secret)but I wanted to spend my money on something I can keep forever and that's where you come in! (I hate to think what they think I'm doing.) If I won I'd be over the moon with something like piccy 1 or 4, I love the "love" banner and the letter tiles. But if I don't win I'm hoping I'll be able to buy one anyway!
Sorry for the essay.

Oh Lordy, I am very excited by this post! I've been looking at cake toppers today on etsy and thought, 'I'll just have a little look-see at Vintage Magpie for today', when I saw your giveaway!

I'm getting married next July so would love a cake topper for my wedding cake. I've decided to make the cake with my mum and little brother, using a recipe for the most delightful chocolate fudge cake that we've baked since I was little. Because we're making it, I need a fabulous cake topper to make it look professional, quirky and generally wondrous.

As for my dream design....I love vintage style (and love the one you've made for yourself), love lettering/typography and my colours are dove grey, ivory and bright coral. I love stars so that would be lovely! A final, possible (or maybe impossible!) challenge would be to somehow incorporate my fiance's Austrian heritage.

I'd be happy with any design to be honest! Thanks very much anyway and I'm sure that whoever gets the cake topper will really appreciate it!

With 8 weeks to go, a list of things to do
I'm starting to wonder if I'll make it through
If from you I win some art for my cake
It would be one less thing for me to make
I'd like some black and some white
To match my theme and my invite
Some pearls, some ribbon a bit of lush fabric
With a touch of Emma's vintage magic
Not too big, perfect but small
Maybe with a subtle tribute to football
Seems like I'm making a lot of demands
When really I'd be happy to leave it in your creative hands
You've got to be in it to win it so I'll give it a try
And hope that this poem catches the magpie's eye

Emma, how very exciting! I moved to China last month and plan to be here for my fiancĂ©'s work for about a year. I come from Scotland and will be getting married there. I contacted you last year about working your magic for my wedding next year. I initally couldn't access your site because chinese authorites don't like blogging! A mere £40 later and some cheeky American software and voilá, I can have my daily fix of your blog.
Should you decide to create something for me I would love something opulent, sparkly and glamorous with a hint of China and Scotland! The only colours I have considered so far are navy and pewter or dull metallics. It would be amazing to have something to inspire me and to have a cheeky taster for my bouquet and my 5 bridesmaids!
Kind regards

Amy.
