My Sunday View

For quite some time we had a day where we didn't have to go anywhere... no commitments, no family plans, no birthdays, no work.

I had forgotten just how relaxing doing nothing was.....

....this was my view of the day... gorgeous sunshine... a wonderful Dutchman... and a perfect Scottie dog....

Pure Bliss... Thank you, to my two favourite Boys... xxx

Its a Bob's life

Well my day starts with a very long walk on the prom... so many lovely smells, that I just have to stop to make sure everything is in order....

Then the journey to work... I smell the air vents to make sure everything is OK in here too... its a Scotties job to be prepared... my nose is my bestest tool!

Then I get to work...I check for undesirables...

Double check.... And a sniff.

Then I get to explore the Sussex town... tiny little streets with my Mum chatting about how she would like to live there...Ohh and there... I make sure I give them an extra sniff and then give my seal of approval.

Then we go back to work... but I have an issue...

My arch enemy is there...the dreaded fly...I try to catch it, then when I fail....(yes I'm not afraid to admit it)...I have to find a hiding place...sigh...huff...

Who ever said a dog's life is easy?

While I was sniffing, chasing, and being look out, Mum was busy..... pretty don't you think?

But I think I deserve the crown... It's been a long day.

Hopefully tomorrow she might leave me at home...my bed is calling me....Till then,

Bones, barks, and Sniffs,

Bob

Sparkling shower

My little nest has gone crazy the last few weeks... I'm not complaining, but my poor hands are!

They look like an old pin cushion...
But they are still working well, nothing a bit of Clarins hand cream can't sort out!

This is one lucky brides bouquet...I adore it behind the vintage Union Jack cushions...So British, just like Vintage Magpie! Hand made and proud.

And the winner is....

Drumroll please.......

Mandy you have won my Baby Magpie Corsage!!!

Kay and Hayley you have a Keep Calm and Carry on Lip balm!

If you could let me know your address (via Email me button) I will pop them in the post for you.

Congratulations!

On Sunday The Wonderful Dutchman, Miss Natalie and I went on a magically mystery tour of Hove. Every May the artists of the area, open their homes up to the public...to show off their talents and more importantly to sell some work!

Around a very dodgy corner we stumbled across these wonderful Mews houses...former stables, for very lucky horses! This one made me smile...so cute!

We had a great time wandering in the rain and soaking up the talent our home city has to offer.

Such gorgeous trees with a touch of sunlight through the drizzle.

Ohhh I forgot to tell you last week...I got a present! I'm making friends in the Old Needlemakers... such a sweet message.. it made my day... I guess I'm not the new bee anymore.

A Girls Best Friend

For 13 years, this gorgeous English Bull Terrier has made me smile, laugh, he has annoyed me, ripped up furniture, nearly fallen through ice. He had a habit of running at you with huge sticks in his mouth, taking you down by the ankles... but he has always been a part of our family.

He was the Bob's first friend as a puppy and they have silently adored each other, with the odd 10 minutes of crazy~ness each day.

He has been my Mums Best Friend.

Albeit a completely crazy, hilarious, naughty friend...

He came to me in my dreams, I got to stroke his fur one last time. His eyes told me he was happy. Thank you for everything Louis xxx

A healthy obsession

I seem to have a obsession with fascinators!

I'm liking it to food... when you find something yummy, you tend to cook it lots... then you get bored of it! So, if you don't see any more of these for a while, you know why.

But for the time being I'm having lots of fun... but I think I need someone better to model for me!

Why the sad face Emsie?

Miss Natalie

Can you spot my amazing 'Keep Calm and Carry On' Lipbalms? They are just Yummy and totally natural!

Do you remember my fab wedding cards? Well Miss Natalie has been busy... this wonderful limited silk screen print is a new arrival in 'The Nest'.

She has a passion for children's stories and will be a very successful children illustrator...this is Cinderella, and the ugly sisters! I love it, the vintage frame adds to the drama.

She had just finished her new website... which is here. I feel like I should buy this signed pint, because I just know she will be famous!

This is my latest creation, a bespoke hair fascinator. I love the colours, just perfect for a May wedding.

Thank you all for your kind words about 'Baby Magpie' your support is fantastic....Thank You, Thank You!!
