Divine Treasures

Vintage Magpie is having a face lift!
After my last post I realised I need to change things up a bit. My world has changed and I have realised I cannot dedicate myself to my bouquets. They are a solitary creation and a certain happy, noisy, intrigued little boy does not give me a lot of that :)

My heart has been toying with this decision since August came along. Being a first time Mama, you just cannot tell what is possible after your world is altered by these gorgeous little bundles. I could continue, but I feel my brides wouldn't be getting my 'all'; and that does not sit comfortably with me. Whatever I do I want to with all my love & creativity. 

My focus is now on selling small handmade items and Divine little treasures my Magpie eye is attracted too.

It is exciting, refreshing and mostly fun. I cannot wait to see where it takes me.

I hope you still follow my adventures here and I promise to blog a lot more regularly from now on. This is my little part of the world wide web, and I adore it.

Matching buttonhole to join Belle on their journey over the vast ocean to South Africa, for a new years eve wedding....how amazing is that?

I sometimes wish i got to go to all the wonderful place my bouquets go too!

Life at VM has been so busy of late...August is still keeping me on my toes with teething at the moment. I can normally be found looking slightly frazzled walking a baby around Hungerford trying to get him asleep! The fun of being a Mummy. 

We also moved into a lovely big house...its bliss, but i do not advise to move with a 6 month old with 10 days notice...that is just silly :)

However it is still the best job I have ever had! He is a real cracker, and keeps us all laughing....

As you can see he wants to be a pirate when he grows up...

Ahoy Etsy!!

Well it has been done... YAY!!! Both Vintage Magpie and Baby Magpie have an Etsy store!

After spending a lovely day searching for vintage goodies yesterday, and doing Etsy today, I'm exhausted!

I hope you get a chance to pop over to Etsy and check it out...more will be added, just not today!

A big bubbly bath is calling... and a glass of red wine, you never know I might come back later and one of you lovely blogger's might have treated yourself!

Baby is on Etsy!!

I have been up to new and exciting things!

Firstly... Etsy is my new friend, you can find the most amazing things on there and it is soooo easy to spend your pennies!

Secondly... I thought that Baby Magpie would be right at home there, handmade, handsewn, proudly English, vintage and fun.

Thirdly... Vintage Magpie is also in on the act! Well I can't put one on without the other, can I??

So today is my Etsy day...later I will be posting photos and links so please pop back and see how I have been getting on!

I had to have a little trip to the hospital today... it wasn't pleasant. So I decided that while I was tucked up in bed I was going to make my day better by starting a new blog!!!
