Charming Chettle

One beautifully crisp and foggy morning...A Magpie and a Wonderful one went on a trip to Dorset...

Where we set up the Vintage Magpie's ware's...

Early morning light floods through the huge windows at Chettle House.

VM's buttonholes found a new home in a vintage ring display box...they got lots of attention!

Powder Blue Belle nestling alongside Powder blue vintage books....

That glorious autumn sunshine, make a stunning home, even more beautiful.

Ohhh that shape....so unusual, so gorgeous...

Rambling plants through the moss covered stone work...

Shocking pink germanium, show off...

I wonder if this divine couch would fit in the car...I then remember our tiny house!! see the Wonderful one looking on with raised eyebrows :)

The most vintage-tastic fabric to die for!

The sunny day outside, made this hallway look so inviting
Just look at that candelabra!

The day was filled with beautiful suppliers, brides and tea girls!
I loved every second.
Thank you Anna for a perfectly planned day xxx

Birthday Boy

Yesterday was the Wonderful Dutchman's Birthday.... We headed for the sea!!

I think we both miss the sea air of Brighton, and it was glorious to have our toes in the sand, and a strong sea breeze....

We headed to Studland, to Shell Bay to stare out at Old Harry and Durdle Door....this coast line of Dorset is breathtaking.....

It was hot....the Bob was happy he had just had his long hair cut off at the groomers!!

We enjoy this peaceful place so much...it holds happy memories, and we vowed that when we have kids we will take a holiday here every year.....toes in the sand, the smell of sun cream, gulls soaring, laughter heard all over the beach.....it is my happy place, and I think it is quickly becoming the Dutchman's too!

 Hot Dog Day!!

The Birthday boy!!

The seaweed was such pretty colours, the water was COLD!!

My two favorite men.... aren't they handsome??!!

Waiting for the ferry, the sun slowly fading....our skin tingling with sun, our feet sandy, but our hearts are full....

Another stunning day at the beach....another beautiful memory

Even the evening rain didn't dampen our spirits!!
Happy Birthday Darling, I hope you liked your present!!

Tom Redman Photography ~ Dorset Delights

Once upon a time this little Magpie lived in Dorset...her and her Darling Ma owned and ran a gorgeous florist in the seaside town  of Swanage....Bob the Scottie dog was just a puppy, I had a few less worries and less grey hair!! Dorset is the most glorious place...the coastline in my opinion cannot be matched.

I have a funny feeling that the Wonderful Tom Redman has the exact same opinion! His images capture the beauty not only of the stunning brides he photographs, but the venues and area as well.

He has a talent to capture fun, love and the twinkle in an eye.... believe me not everyone can do this!

This image of a brides lace veil on the brick steps is a firm favorite with me...... so timeless.

How to make snow look warm and magical!

This is the photo which brought a flood of memories back...My Darling Ma and me used to dress this veune nearly every week....Kingston Country Courtyard.....It seems a lifetime ago, but the memories are truly wonderful....making brides happy has been a huge part of my life for the last 10 years....

Thank you Tom for bringing those memories back to me....

Tom has the talent to capture Fun, creative yet classic and timeless images....a rare find....to see more of his work why not pop over HERE and soak up the delight of Tom's Brides.

Images all thanks to Tom Redman Photography
