Now here she is after A bit of Vintage Magpie love.....

So much better than a new £65 chair and I got to choose the fabric! It took an afternoons work, with radio 4 chatting in the background.... a few sore fingers.... but one huge smile!

Once the studio/workshop is not a bedroom/workshop, things are going to look gorgeous.... Can't wait!!

Purple Passion

Wiring, Sore Fingers & The End Product...

Well it has been a manic time for this little Magpie. Last minute orders, and emotional brides.

I have searched... cleaned... wired... wired... wired... pinned... and made beautiful 2 full shower bouquets in the same time it would normally take to make a small sparkling hand tied.... and I have to say I am very proud of the end products!!

What do you all think??

Both are not quite finished I will take more photos when they are! Someone please pass the hand cream....! x

My poor hands.....

Well after my break I knew there was lots to do and I have spent the last few days wiring!! My poor hands havent had a rest!! Not even Clarins hand cream is helping the sore fingers and rough skin!!

But I have got a lot done......

In my own way I have always loved wiring, even as a florist I was the person to call upon if any wired brides bouquet was needed. But that was, at the most, only once a week - not every day like now! I suffer for my art, I will have you know!!


Anyhow moaning doesn't get you anywhere.... so I better get going again!!
